WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- 350 HP, and nothing in Chaos Rising goes higher. That is the wall your opponent has to break through before taking a Prize.
- Retreat cost 1. One Energy to discard and it is back on the Bench, which matters a lot on the turn you need to swap attackers.
- It has an Ability, Mortal Shuriken. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
- Mega Greninja ex runs it in 21 of the 21 lists we have read, seen across 20 different tournaments.
- Mark J. The next rotation takes mark H away, so this one stays tournament legal.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- It is an ex card. The turn it goes down your opponent takes two Prizes instead of one, and games do turn on exactly that.
- It is a Stage 2. You have to come through Frogadier to get here, or find a Rare Candy to skip the middle step.
- Weakness Lightning ×2. Against a Lightning Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 1,301 tournament lists we have read, 109 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
