The short version: your game is analysed in your browser, on your device, and nothing leaves it until you ask. The long version is below. Everything that can leave your device is named there, with the moment it happens and the way to erase it.

Updated 12 August 2026

Your game stays with you

When you paste a battle log, all the work happens in the tab you opened. We read the text, we replay your turns and we write your report on your device, and none of that goes through our servers.

The pasted log lives in the tab's memory and dies with it: close the tab and nothing is left. Your settings stay in the browser's memory, on this device — that is what lets them still be there tomorrow.

What goes up if you keep a game

You can ask your account to keep a game — with a click on that game, or with the switch in Settings that keeps every following one until you turn it off. At that moment, and never before, this is what leaves your device for our database:

  • the text of your battle log, in full
  • your decklist, if you pasted one
  • both player names in the game, and the result
  • the number of turns, and the word of the report's harshest verdict
  • the version of poko that read the game that day

The report itself never goes up. We store it nowhere: it is rebuilt in your browser from the log every time you reopen the game.

Kept games sit in our database, run by Supabase, on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

Nobody but you can open them: our database refuses every row to anyone who is not signed in with your own address. They are not encrypted, though. Someone at poko, holding the server keys, could read them. We also tell you this at the moment you choose, because you decide better knowing it.

You can remove them whenever you want, one by one or all at once, from your games page. Removing a game erases it for good: there is nothing else left to chase behind it.

Your account

There is no password. You give us your e-mail address, we send you a link, and clicking it signs you in. So what we keep about you comes down to one thing: your e-mail address. It is what says which games are yours.

The service that sends those links and recognises accounts is called Supabase. It is the same one that runs our database, in Frankfurt. Your session lives in your browser's memory, and signing out throws it away.

Your opinion on a verdict

Under each verdict in the report, you can tell us whether it helped. Here is everything that reaches us when you answer:

  • your yes or your no
  • the turn number and the word of the verdict
  • the version of poko that answered you, and the language you were reading in
  • the sentence you cared to write, if you wrote one

And here is what never travels with an opinion:

  • your name or your e-mail address
  • your device's address on the Internet (the IP address)
  • your battle log, or anything that would let someone find it

An opinion carries nothing that leads back to you. Even we cannot find the game it talks about.

No trackers

This site has no advertising counter, and no tool that follows you from page to page. That is why there is no cookie banner to click away: there is nothing to accept.

What your browser keeps, it keeps on your device:

  • your settings
  • your session, if you are signed in
  • the game you just pasted, in the tab you pasted it in — closing the tab throws it away

You can sweep all of it from your browser's settings. The site will keep working, it will just have forgotten your choices.

When you click a merchant link

Some pages show where to buy cards and sealed boxes, and each link tells you on the spot whether it earns us anything. Here is what a click sets off: you leave poko for the merchant's site, and the link's address may carry a tag that tells the merchant you came from us. That tag is how it knows to pay us a share.

Once you are on its site, the merchant and its partner platform set their own cookies, on their own turf and under their own rules. Until you click, none of that exists.

Your data can be erased

What we hold about you can be seen and erased from the site itself: your kept games on their page, your settings in Settings. For everything else, write to us — for instance to have your account and the e-mail address that goes with it disappear:

When this page changes

If the site ever starts doing something else with your data, this page will change first, and the date at the top with it. A promise that does not follow the product is worth nothing.
